Hi, Nadia. I'm very sorry to hear about your housing situation. That's something that absolutely MUST be dealt with before winter or the country's courting revolution. There isn't anything anybody can do to "save money" on housing or utilities or gasoline or car insurance - things we must have, but at prices others always dictate. And those are rising fast.

You can live in a lesser shelter, get the $12/month local only phone service (no cell), do without cable television altogether (haven't had TV around my place since 1976), get a clunker or a scooter and liability-only insurance, etc. But the costs are rising fast enough than this will be fully middle class before another year's out!

Check into the freelance writing world (search on that word, go from there). People do make money writing pieces (articles, X-number words) for blogs, websites, magazines, e-zines, etc. It's sometimes hard work, but the publishing industry - ANY technology - has always needed copy writers. Once you make some contacts and do some piece-work, opportunities will begin to open up.

Best of luck to you, Nadia!

I am about to embark on this journey at becoming debt free at the present I and my three children are homeless. However I am pressing on. I am looking for very practical ways of making my money stretch. I truly don't know what I'm doing but I am going to give it a go. I guess at this point I have nothing else to lose but everything to gain. This article is very insiteful and informative. How can I make money online doing something legitimate?
